Professor John E. Straub joins The Journal of Chemical Physics as new Associate Editor
The Journal of Chemical Physics is pleased to announce a new Associate Editor to the Journal, Professor John E. Straub. Dr. Straub's outstanding achievements in Chemical Physics makes him a valuable member of the Editorial team for the Journal. Dr. Straub began as Associate Editor 17 May 2010 and handles manuscripts in experimental and theoretical areas of biochemical physics.
John Straub’s research focuses on protein structure and dynamics, specifically theoretical and computational modeling of biophysical systems, strengthening the journal and increasing our visibility in biochemical physics. Particular areas of his research interests include ultrafast dynamics and energy transfer in proteins, the development of computational algorithms for enhanced sampling and coarse-grained modeling of liquids, glasses, and biomolecules, and the study of peptide and protein folding and aggregation.
In the video below, Professor Straub discusses JCP as well as his role at Boston University.
